The Association is pleased to announce the merging of the Ladies Fair and the Vegetable & Grain Show to create the Exhibitors Fair. The Ladies Fair has had a long-standing tradition of inviting all amateurs-men, women and children to enter the competition. However, every year, visitors to the building express surprise that it includes men and children as the name “Ladies Fair” tends to be interpreted as exclusive to women. With the goal of having a name that would reflect the fair being open to everyone, as well as easily recognizable, the name Exhibitors Fair evolved.
We need you to help us make a difference at the 131st Plowing Match & Festival. Volunteers are key to successful events and activities and there are multiple opportunities to step up for this community event.
The 2025 Vendor Application is available now! Please share with your favorite artists, crafters, businesses and more.
Support the Association. The first year of the tree revitalization project at Plowman’s Park included: 15 trees received an application of a slow-release growth regulator to improve the root system; 27 trees were pruned; 30 trees received a liquid ground injection to improve plant defenses; and multiple areas received a surface application of biochar/compost to improve soil structure. Aeration and mulching is pending. Our goal is to save and extend the life of the old growth trees. The extent of this multi-year project is dependent on grants, Association funding and donations from the community. Please consider supporting the Association with a contribution.
