Association Seeks New Sponsors

2026 will be the 132nd Big Rock Plowing Match & Festival. Plowman’s Park and the Historical Society’s Davis Field host the Big Rock Plowing Match & Festival each September. The Association annually assesses finances to determine what will be financially possible for the next match and festival and is seeking new sponsors in the business community, as well as, inviting individuals and families to become new sponsors.

Community support is the backbone of the organization providing funding since 1895. As a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization that strives to preserve Big Rock’s agricultural heritage, Plowman’s Park, Kenny Field and all facilities are maintained by the Association without any tax or public funds. The Big Rock Plowing Match & Festival has grown and expanded over the years in direct response to your requests. The reality is additional sponsors are needed to underwrite this community event.

Already a sponsor? Thank you. Your support is key to funding prize money for the competitions. Your generous support is vital for the Association to offer the plowing match and festival as a free community event; to continue carnival rides and entertainment; to assist with general operating expenses; and to maintain Plowman’s Park. We are hopeful new sponsors will come forward to be counted as contributing donors. The Association extends its heartfelt thanks to all our current sponsors and looks forward to welcoming new sponsors.
